The New Cayenne Coupe Exterior
Signature 4-point running LED headlights feature in this new model. Furthermore, each trim boasts a roof spoiler, a fixed panoramic sunroof, and a rear hatch spoiler (adaptive).
LED taillights, quad-exit exhausts, a faux diffuser, and 20-inch wheels are also available. However, the GTS trim boasts center-exit exhaust pipes and 21-inch wheels.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
All the new Cayenne Coupe variants are similar except when it comes to their powertrains. For instance, all three trim models feature an AWD system and an 8-speed transmission (Tiptronic S automatic). Whichever trim level you choose, the gearbox offers smooth gear shifts. However, the gearbox becomes impressive with sharp differences when you switch to manual mode.
The base model engine is a 3-liter V6 (turbocharged) with 335 horsepower, turning torque of 332 lb-ft. This power allows the Cayenne Coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
The 2.9-liter V6 (twin-turbo) powers the S Coupe model. The engine can send 432 horsepower and a torque of 404 lb-ft to the wheels, allowing it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds.
Coming at the top is the Cayenne GTS model. It gets its power from a 4-liter V8 (twin-turbo), which makes 453 hp and a torque of 457 lb-ft. The GTS sprints from 0-60 mph within 4.2 seconds.
Fortunately, you can get the Sport Chrono package in all trim levels. Plus, each trim level can comfortably tow up to around 7,700 pounds.
What is the difference between Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe?
There are several differences between the Cayenne and the Cayenne Coupe. For example, the Cayenne has a roofline extension that ends in a spoiler at the back of the wheel. The tailgate, with exceptional definition, extends past the spoiler. The chrome exhaust finishers and the Led light bar further define the rear.
In comparison, the Cayenne Coupe's roofline ends in a spoiler, aligned at the rear wheel front. This scenario creates a sharper angle across the tailgate and the window. The tailgate comes smoother, and the rear features a light bar ( with chromed-tipped quad exhaust tops).
The Cayenne features standard five seats, while the Cayenne Coupe has four seats. However, five seats are optional.
